Z, I called Compaq and they said roughly, "We make the model 3570, entirely, with no part of the product acquired from Quantum." I respect your opinion Z, but I have to go with Compaq's PR, unless I see something different in an official announcement. I think DLT technology has been licensed to Compaq, not the actual DLT product. (i.e. schematics, product info., construction process vs. the actual drive) Tech
