NOVEMBER 4, 1997

Nu-Sky Energy Inc. and Meridian Drill Successful Gaswell
at Alderson

CALGARY, ALBERTA--Nu-Sky Energy Inc. and partner Meridian Energy
Corporation have drilled and completed a Bow Island gaswell at
7-13-14-15 W4M in the Alderson area of South Eastern Alberta.
After completion, the well was flow tested at rates of 2 mmcf/d
through a 3/8" choke with a 21 percent draw down. Nu-Sky
anticipates that the well will be placed on continuous production
during December, 1997.

Nu-Sky has a 16 percent working interest and a 15 percent ORR on a
34 percent working interest before payout, and 33 percent working
interest after payout. Production from this well is expected to
increase Nu-Sky's production base to 175 BOE/d.

Nu-Sky and Meridian are exploring opportunities for further
development in this area.
