Georgy- For an exhaustive description of the US Industry & Trade Outlook '98, check out the publishers site where you can order online for $70: mcgraw-hill.inforonics.com It's a terrific book. Probably over 2 inches thick. Covers many, many industries as you'll see in the link above. It's supported a joint effort with the Department of Commerce (drawing from many government agencies), Standard & Poors, and McGraw-Hill. The write up on space commerce for example was several pages and it is very good. Gives lots of background and discussion on projections over next several years. Tables and graphs included. And it's very authoritative, given the authors. In short, I highly recommend it for those who really want a good background, current status and projected outlook of a stock's industry.
