John,
After the consolidation they have approx. 42 Million shares outstanding. Of this there is 15.4 Million owned by the Belco Oil and Gas (the largest shareholder), which leaves a 26.6 Million share float. Of that last week alone 7.5 Million shares changed hands or 28% of all of the trading shares. For many companies to have that kind of a turnover would be amazing and there would be a new management team in place.
