I think the expanding INVESTOR CLASS is itself a democratic decentralized force that will seek political revenge this time around that may be revolutionary by all measures. I think we may see short selling made illegal, this is the tool of the thieves that planned this recent SELL OFF CONSPIRACY, without it, even Greenspan could not have killed off this high tech open and democratically decentralized new economic and social order. The Conspiracy waited until margins were high, and they shorted the market by "BORROWING" without express permission, the shares of stocks of small investors, to drive the price down AGAINST THE INVESTORS' OWN INTEREST. The very same stock brokerage houses that allowed this "BORROWING" to the short sellers breached their fiduciary duty of loyalty to their small investor customers. They should be sued in a class action lawsuit, since they gave no notice that short sellers were borrowing their customers shares, to drive prices down, trigger margin and maintenance calls, requiring more selling by small investors and day traders, which forced the prices down even more, and more, so that the short sellers could then buy and cover their short sales at the bottom, when the NASDAQ sold off over 65% that means many investors lost 65%, but the short selling conspirators POCKETED 65% OF THE VALUE OF THE MARKET. THEY OWN THIS EQUITY VALUE, their "BORROWING" became a CONVERSION, a plain and simple fraudulent THEFT. Greenspan for example, could have increased margin interest rates, and not the other fed rates they governed, which would have caused all margin investors to lower their margined equity securities, BUT this would have prevented them being vulnerable to the SHORT SELLING CONSPIRACY. They would not have been forced to sell, to spiral the market down on autopilot to where it is now. What he did, helped them, he intentionally did it. CENTRAL CONTROL could not allow for the decentralized democratic high tech world that was emerging. CENTRAL CONTROL won the battle, but this battle is the battle cry that will now allow US to win the war. Their days of CENTRAL CONTROL are ending.
