You are incorrect. I was not insulting Laz at all, I simply did not expect Laz to be able to understand my POV. And I wanted to make sure that he knew that what he was stating was my POV (and RATHER insultingly I might add! I do HOPE you've taken him to task for that!) was not actually my POV. Given what has happened it would seem an unrealistic expectation that he would understand why I think what I think- and I am not an unrealistic person. I am quite sure, considering what Laz has said, he does not understand my POV. I understand why he says what he does. I do not understand how to SEE it the way he does, but I believe him when he tells me what he tells me.
You do not appear to believe what I say. Which is fine. What I said was that my preference was against pointless namecalling. That sort of reflexive (twitch twitch) name calling. My preference is against that, and continues to be against that, simply because it is- why you should care, why you should be here arguing about it, I've not a clue. Clearly you've a vested interest in arguing with me about my preferences, which seems quite silly to me. I've no such interest in you.
Parlor trick? Clean skirts? I'm not worried about any of that E. I just want things the way I want them, same as you. And I'm honest enough to say so. And of course I don't post anywhere where I think my scope of free expression might be limited in ways I would not prefer. Although I don't expect people to go along with my views in unmoderated spaces- why would they? Hence the reason this thread is moderated. There is no real REASON I can give to justify why I prefer things the way I prefer them- and I wouldn't wrap my self in the cloak of dudely- do- rightedness- if you thought I was, that would be a mistake. Of course I think my preferences are "best" for me- but not best in any global sense.
