Larry: I get the sense that you and I are of like minds. I like Silicon Investor because I enjoy the threads and discussions - plus I work in the high tech industry so I have opinions that I can offer in the software and hardware forums. But I am by no means a "trader". I invest in companies that I believe in and then I sit back and weather the storm. So I am holding onto Merrimac for a long time and I am looking forward to the adventures ahead. My interest in MRM started about 2 years ago when I read an article in business week about them. I did my homework and spent the money on MRM knowing that I may never see it again. As far as I am concerned - I have yet to make any money on MRM - but on paper, I have made quite a lot. So far, that strategy has done pretty well for me across the board. My life may not be as exciting as others on SI, but it is exciting enough. Hell - I got excited today at the 1 1/2 jump! -Matt
