<<<Neither you nor I can hype this stock lol. They are too big. It takes institutions. But
we may make some money if we know what the institutions are doing with it.

Right, I know.. I just am responding to the 2 posts on the thread saying Im hyping these for my gain.. LOL, if I were to do that Id find a nice 1M float online brokerage and say "NEXT ETRADE!!!!!!" .. not pick ones like this.. anyways... funny posts.

<<<The strength with SUNW is because they are taking business away from IBM in the server area, is this correct? Or people believe them as the next MSFT (in the Java area etc)?

Servers yes...
JAVA... more important, and all the implications it has.. i dont know if they are the next MSFT, but their view on the future is quite different than MSFT. Many powerful companies are forming alliances with SUNW (such as Oracle, IBM, etc) to fight against the Wintel (MSFT/INTC monopoly) I dont see MSFT failing in anyway... they will adapt to whatever the future holds. SUNW has more of an "everything in your house can be an internet appliance" viewpoint, while MSFT is still revolving around the PC on your desk.

For picking purpose, I'd pick SUNW basically because its the most undervalued in my eyes... smallest company of the 4 as well... EMC 2nd...

MSFT and CSCO are just huge behomeths which you should buy and forget about.. not that good for trading.
