Boy are you gullible. Let's take Cheney and Halliburton.
They have what? 6 billion in Iraq contracts? That's Cheney's company. They gouge us on military services, mercenaries, oil delivery, you name it. They've been busted but they still continue largely unchecked.

Americans might say yeah, that war was great so we can control the oil, but the US taxpayers footing the bill are not getting any of the benefits. In fact we are being doubly gouged by the Bushies. We overpay for the Halliburtons of the world servicing the war, then we pay double at the pump back home. Sure, oil might have been a bit higher without a Big Oil ticket in power but it's no coincidence prices are so high under these guys. That's their bread and butter.

Proof: the only time oil prices plummeted since Bush was nominated was the day after Jeffords switched parties giving Dems subpoena powers to investigate the energy scandals. Suddenly we had an energy surplus-glut after Bushies have been crying for months about the dire shortages. In fact it's all fraud at the highest level and our government can do almost nothing because Big Oil which needs to be regulated isn't. This costs us each thousands of dollars over the source of a Bush administration. The big hidden tax, but not the only one. Health care and drug costs are also much higher.
