the Japanese business plan...market share at all costs Jim, That strategy only works when the company challenging on price has greater ability to absorb losses than its competitors. The Japanese companies did this to Intel in the memory market in the mid-eighties forcing Intel to retreat. Intel is now in a position of strength relative to all of its competitors. They can't succeed by competing on price alone. Larry
