Addi,
I would never compare class companies like SUNW/MSFT with Novell. Hmn... for me companies like Apple and Novell are dead till they come up with atleast 4 consequtive Qtrs of growth in revenue and also in profit. My point was that you should not say a company with revenue of
2.5 Bil per Qtr with 1 Bil cash is more efficient than a company with
3.x Bil per Qtr with 9 Bil cash. According to this logic, if SUNW reduces that cash to 0, then it will look like it has infinite efficiency. More cash in a company is always better and MSFT is pumping profit of 1 Bil each Qtr while the revenue is slightly higher than SUNW. So, I consider MSFT to be more efficient than SUNW. This is purely because of the high margins for MSFT software. But what I like in SUNW as an investment is simply because of its low valuation relative to other techs while they have a solid server business which has a good future.

Re: Your discussions with Twister: My point was that the discussions are going more towards Java, the lawsuit and related specualtion. i,e mostly the parameters we can not comprehend. Instead we can talk about the SUNW's real business i.e their server. Again, that was my humble request and it is up to you guys to honor that request or not. I am not for sensorship but for focus on real numbers and real business. That's all.

Well. I think i am spending more time than I should. Let me go back and concentrate on my work which is the bread and butter for me. After all, work is also a huge investment ;-)
