Objective Conclusion

What will happen when satellites dominate the airwaves and supply coverage from the depths of the Grand Canyon to the remote areas of Utah's Canyonland NP ?

Look at the direction of any rapidly expanding technology. Computers, Internet services, stock trading, TV shopping, pagers, telephone calling cards, cable, DDS and cell phones. The prices and profits where sky-high. I think the estimates of the length of time could be considerable inflated before the competition effects the profit margins. The footprint is the answer, yes? You say To much time to develop for new comers. I can't determine how many cell phone companies there are. But they cooperated enough to link service across the country already. If they unify the Roaming charges and reduce the rate even more. And with the cost of the phones almost free now, add the same features as your home phone. Businesses will look hard at continuing their use of the service they already have. The concept is only one step from reality.

Hope is a good thing to have. But reality is now, where we live. We just need to see.
