Seems like a pretty silly rumor to me

EMC and APM are in completely different lines of business. If EMC were going to buy a disk company (which I seriously doubt) SEG would be a more logical target given that they are a major supplier to EMC. I expect EMC to make acquisitions, but I expect them to be in the networking/switching and data management software areas.
