To suggest that Bush should "apologize for misleading us into war" is silly. That would be an admission of a high crime and lead immediately to impeachment-or should. But he won't do it anyway. He's totally consistent in resisting any suggestion that he might have committed an error, and that has been and will be his ultimate failure.
