I understand Fry's started as a food store and the father wanted his son to run it, but the son wasn't interested and the dad opened a Fry's Electronics for the kid because that's where his interests were...electronics. Dad is proud of son now! I don't know if it's true but was told that by someone who claimed to know. Scrapps
