M2 PRESSWIRE-5 February 1998-IOMEGA: Iomega's Zip drive to be integrated into new HP Brio small business PCs (C)1994-98 M2
COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Iomega International S.A., a subsidiary of Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM) today announced that Hewlett-Packard Company will integrate
Iomega's internal 100MB Zip drive into part of its new HP Brio PC range as a standard feature. Shipments are expected to start in mid-February,
1998.

Two of the Advanced Business Communication Model configurations of HP Brio PCs will include the Zip drive in Europe. HP also plans to
offer the internal Zip drive as part as part of its Channel Assembly Program (CAP) in Europe and Asia. The Zip drive is also an optional feature
of HP Vectra corporate PCs and HP Kayak PC Workstations.

"HP Brio PCs are designed to address the real-life needs of small businesses, particularly those without a dedicated IT department," said Eric
Cador, general manager of HP's Small Computing Operation. "By adding Iomega's Zip drive, HP is providing an extra dimension of flexibility to
enable HP Brio PC users to share, store and back-up important information easily."

"With over 12 million Zip drives shipped worldwide, the Zip drive continues to increase its presence in the high capacity removable storage
market." commented Leslie Finn, OEM Director at Iomega International. "PC manufacturers across the globe, like HP, are responding to this
growing end-user demand and, by integrating the Zip drive, are adding real value to their products and to their customers."

Iomega's Zip drive is an affordable personal storage solution for today's increasingly sophisticated computing needs. It's 100MB Zip disks can

applications, the Zip drive's unlimited capacity enables customers to maximise their computers' ability to download Internet files, store and
transport digital photographs and create multimedia presentations, as well as providing a built-in backup system. Iomega's Zip Tools software,
also included with the drive, makes it easy for consumers to manage, share and save their information.

Zip drives and disks are available through VARs, resellers, system integrators and distributors. Iomega's Zip drive is also available as a
standard or optional feature in many computer models from top PC vendors around the world including Acer, Apple, Compaq, Dell, Gateway,
Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Micron, Packard Bell NEC, Sony, UMAX and Unisys. Iomega has also established relationships with other notebook
computer manufacturers including Acer, ASE, Compal, Chicony, Clevo, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, IBM, Micron, NEC, Sharp and Siemens
Nixdorf that offer notebook Zip drives as either standard or optional features in selected notebook models. The notebook Zip drive is also
