To be honest with all, I have recently invested in long-term LEAPS in AAPL. I cannot predict the future but conduct analysis from what I read. OS X is late but if they released it now there is a limited amount of applications written to the platform. Regardless, I am betting that AAPL does release it sometime in 2001. If so, I do not think Jobs will screw up his marketing again. We all know that the first to market with a product usually gains the most marketshare; there are exceptions of course.

Under the AAPL model, the consumer will now be able to rent apps and storage from the ASP (i.e., that being AAPL-ASP). This really intrigues me. Unlimited storage or pay for what I use. Like electricity. I like it. If AAPL can deliver they will have a substantial headstart on MSFT and other consumer PC manufactures. Thats my take and why I invested.

Before I continue, what is your rationale for making such a statement. Jobs has delivered wherever he went. He is a master at product development.

Thanks, Bob.
