SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 23, 2001--E-business security provider Cylink Corporation (Nasdaq:CYLK - news) today introduced the Cylink Frame Encryptor High-Speed Serial Interface (CFE HSSI), the fastest frame relay encryption device in the industry. With rates of up to 52 Mbps, the CFE HSSI delivers high-speed security for data, voice and video communications.

The CFE HSSI secures communications over point-to-multipoint links via high-speed wide area networks (WANs), such as data transmitted between a main bank and its branches, or a corporate headquarters and remote offices. Offered in Triple-DES versions, the CFE HSSI features fully automated Diffie-Hellman key management to eliminate all the operational and maintenance costs of managing an encrypted network with manual key distribution.
The CFE HSSI also features Cylink's PrivaCy Manager®, a point-and-click management platform that remotely configures and monitors Cylink network security products. Designed for demanding enterprise and global networks, PrivaCy Manager provides control of the frame encryptors from a single location or across any number of management stations.
