When it comes to murder, mayhem,torture, slavery, indentured servitude, war, immorality under theism given history it would take me all of three minutes to destroy any theologian out there with reality. What has ruled men's actions in almost every case since the beginning, is the protection of economic interests, preservation of territory & empire/nationalism,self rule, domination of resources, control of trade. Religion & god always in every case were secondary, a pretense, and determined by monarchs & its noble class sovereigns anyways, in that medieval system. (which was in place all the way back to the pharoahs & before, nothing had changed, except Banking systems of lending & borrowing became far more evolved)

(Yes Stalin had many people offed, so did many monarchs, popes, emperors from before. There were also 20mil Russians killed in battle simply with fending off the German invasions.
