As a democracy, we face a much greater threat from within. When you say that "only those inside the beltway really know", you are acting as a frightened cow might in response to a perceived foreign threat. You fail to understand that our way of life is being undermined from within the Beltway.
Not only are the Bushies ruining the economy, they are also more than likely engaged in agent provocateur schemes being paid for by larger "black ops" budgets than we've ever had in the past. Here's your government at work:
