Hi all, looking for a recommendation for an "All-in-one" high end (up to $500) for home office use. I saw one from HP recently. Was very nice with a sheet feeder and even a duplexer. But the salesman couldn't guarantee the ink wouldn't run when elderly clients or inebriated friends drool on my documents or photos. <ggg>

Is there ink out there that is close to what you can do on a laser with respect to making sure important documents are permanent.

How about cost of supplies? Is that still a major factor? This will not be used heavily all the time but for sporadic jobs that tend to be copy intensive, e.g., 50 page legal documents, photos. The copy function will also get a lot of use and the faxing function. Speed not as important as quality of output.

Thanks in advance.
