Paul Ryan lectures Tim Geithner about leadership

This is an excellent clip of Paul Ryan taking it to Geithner over his horrible budget that will lead us to a debt crisis. Geithner’s point is that he gets the deficit down over the next few years or so, but then it shoots way back up due to unfunded liabilities (entitlement promises we can’t keep). And that is Ryan’s point, that leaders are supposed to fix problems instead of kicking the can down the road for future generations to deal with:

Also, Ryan was on Fox News this morning to discuss the above clip, and he says that Geithner simply doesn’t want to face up to the fact that his budget does nothing to improve our debt situation:
