Let me ask you an options question. Today, SRS ran up at the close. Someone said that some traders were out of the money and had to buy the shares. Can you translate that by showing a situation where that would happen? TIA.

Hard to know without more info... but here is a guess. My guess is that they were talking about folks that sold naked calls at a low strike price. As the stock reversed they knew they would have to make good on the contracts so they bought the underlying security to protect their profits.

But honestly it doesn't make much sense looking at the day chart.
