If you're reading this it's likely because you've heard the outrageous but true reports that Wisconsin's 1,000,000+ signature petition to recall Governor Scott Walker will not be checked for accuracy by the overseer of Wisconsin elections, the Government Accountability Board. The GAB has stated they will not conduct an audit of the signatures; assuming them all to be valid unless challenged otherwise. Reports of the duplicate signatures and questionable practices that took place during the petition drive led True the Vote, together with We the People of the Republic and The Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty, to launch an effort to engage citizens in an nonpartisan, independent audit of recall petition signatures.
