Re: AVNT Many shorts have not covered, or they cover and re-short. I'm now short for the third time (and obviously wish I had never covered my initial short). That said, I don't attribute the pop in the stock to short covering, but rather to news releases. The company is making good earnings. The only question is: do you believe they broke civil and criminal laws in building their company, and if so, how severe should the punishment be?
