<< I'm not sure the Oil sanctions against Iraq did squat.
Lets face it. Did it do any good or was is failed policy?. Honest answer??
>>

The sanctions against Iraq denied Saddamn funds for building up his military power, and for building up his weapons of mass destruction. I don't know "how much", but I knew it had an impact. Either way, the Iraqi people would not have benefited by eased sanctions.

It's the same way in Cuba. For years, Castro, financed by the Soviet Union, exported terrorism to many countries. The sanctions against Cuba definitely slowed down Castro's international killing machine.

Castro could care less about the Cuban people, just like Saddamn cares nothing about the Iraqi people. Tyrants are all the same, selfish, greedy, immoral and destructive.
