OT* Rukeyser, Wall Street Week:
JDN, i concede that my post would have been more clear if i had included more <G>, <VBG> :), ;-) and stuff like that. Then again, you have to admit that Rukeyser's humour is so dry that his spittoon could be referred to as "the dust bowl." (insert something here so readers understand there was humour intended)

While i very rarely see the programe, i agree that "Wall Street Week" is one of the best financial programs available.

Rukeyser was not born the day before yesterday (he was on PBS since before DOW 1000) and does not have a history of hyping companies that are not good long term investments. Global Crossing Ltd shareholders should be proud that the stock was mentioned so favourably.

I tried, in a round about way, make reference to the fact that less than six (6) months ago, it was almost imposable to find a media reference to Global Crossing Ltd that did not contain "up start," "Bermuda based," and "only asset is a single cable." We all should be greatfull to Robert A and the team for the hard work that they put in to build Global Crossing Ltd into a majour player in the world wide telecom market. I believe that the new management team will be able to bring the company to the next levle.

Sorry for any confusion my post caused.
Go long and prosper.
