Right, nb - and you can find my posts about the unpredictability of the situation as well. DDI went as far as seriously consider choosing W-CDMA and leaking this information on an executive level. In spite of the fact that it is an IS-95 operator. That was the damage that isn't reveresed by this decision.

Once again - look at the share price movements and decide for yourself how much W-CDMA has strengthened in recent months. Building DDI up as a stunning victory for cdma2000 is simply distortion of the situation. It would have been stunning victory for W-CDMA - it is nothing but a defensive win for the opposing camp.

The impact on Korea will be balanced by what happens elsewhere in Asia - especially if it really takes 2 years to introduce the first commercial cdma2000 handsets.
