I've spoken to some other retailers that had been getting shipments of 50 units per week, but had dropped to about 20 per week in the recent 6 weeks. My suspicion is that Iomega has a sever shortage of these drives and has been diverting shipments from lesser retailers in favor of the larger retailers like Fry's, CompUSA, Circuit City, etc. I'm still seeing shelves sold out within a week of delivery. Some of these locations are selling out within a couple of days of putting the Jaz on the shelf. I'm not hyping, I'm just letting you know what I hear when I talk to the managers. They want more but can't get them. Circuit City is selling out of them despite the fact that they don't have the Jaz scsi controllers. Some people are just buying the drives and using the Zip scsi controllers.

When production of the Jaz ramps up, we're going to see a huge earnings surprise. Or maybe not, they may decide to spread out the earnings over several quarters to retain consistency.
