Joe, I had to respond to this as I have a vested interest in web broadcasting. Whilst iCAST sounds and looks good I have been following another "upstart" (there's that word again) called BroadcastAmerica.com; formerly known as BroadcastMusic.com. Check them out if you are interested in this stuff. There is no doubt in my mind that a healthy war for web broadcasting is about to commence as companies such as these begin to go public. With cheaper and faster internet access becoming available (thanks to the like of GBLX) the future of broadcasting over this medium looks very bright indeed. BroadcastAmerica already has over 300 radio stations "hooked up" and judging by the jobs section on their web page, this company will list quite soon. The magnitude of BroadcastAmerica by far dwarfs RealNetworks, and look what they did. I think that iCAST will have a fight on their hands to claim the "largest International broadcast network over the internet" title! Malcolm Sutherland.
