I suppose I have been a part of the "wall of denial". I would guess most users are not Computer professionals or privy to the latest networking devices or software. Most have never been exposed to the inside details or understand the complex workings of the net. A number don't have multi-ISPs, ADSL, CABLE Modems available to them. I sure fall into the catergory of the average user.

Somehow because of luck, proper setup, ISP, Phone lines, location away from silicon valley or urban bloat, I have had very few problems at all with the service. Even during the outages due to server problems. I was never affected for long. I can only believe I am doing something right or I am not asking that much of the system. Or the random effects of all variables come together to provide me what some seem not able to achieve. I just have a 56k modem connection.

I have a feeling that if you had a server for every 5 customers, there would still be those that had problems. Your example of the route losing 50% of packets points out the path taken is all important. When I see the messy setups on the computers of relatives and friends and see the bad phone lines or ISPs some have to connect thru, I can see how many would have problems getting good results.

Then when I hear of all the powerful hardware/software setups and knowledge of someone like Steve having problems, I marvel even more at my lack of problems. A reliable source of trading information is important to me, I like to eat and I want my toys, Qcharts provides it.

Again as you know, I am just a satisfied, independent, customer who would leave if I found your service did not provide what I want. So the "wall of denial" from me and some others here is we just don't see any major problems in the Qcharts service, but Quote.com should never stop improving things for us and those that do have problems.
