With "socialism" talk having become tiresome, lazy right-wing voices have decided to climb the attack ladder -- "fascist" is one rung higher than "communist."


Most people on the Right are not buying it yet. But to those of us who understand how fascism takes root, we see the potential.

I don't know whether it is his intention or not, and I don't know whether he can make a go of it. But there are definitely parallels with the previous attempt by FDR as well as the one true fascist to claim an entity in the US, Huey P. Long, who built a fascist state in Louisiana (and may well have done the same in the US had FDR--and Long's death--not gotten in his way).
