bp - actually, I started a thread about the impact and didn't get a lot of posts, but you may want to visit - there was at least one post that included a piece from a newspaper that was fairly positive that all of this wasn't going to amount to much in the way of the stock market.

I panicked and took some profits out a few weeks ago to start building a cash reserve position in case the rotary fecal distributor really got going, but I've sort of regretted it because I have seen what I sold pick up a couple of points since then.

As to resignation - I don't think it will happen. I don't think he'll be impeached, either. I said a couple of weeks ago that the Democrats would cheer him at the podium during the convention.

They don't call him "Slick" for nothing. I don't think the Presidency has much of an economic effect, either way. You have to cut down into the layers of the DC subterranean world before you find humanoids that have any real effect.

Mr. K.
