Is QQQ a stock or not? Well, yes. It is a stock traded on the same basis as the valuation of the NASDAQ 100. Unlike a mutual fund, QQQ's, SPY's, and DIA's all trade as stocks on the AMEX. If it looks like a stock, it smells like a stock, and trades like a stock...is it a stock? I believe so!

Now if you believe it unfair to pick a "stock" with equity asset diversification, then I guess we can't pick stocks like INTC, INTU,CSCO, MSFT or the other thousand "companies" who, in large part, hold much of their earnings potential and capital valuations to their large diversified equity interest portfolios in other companies! Or is fair not fair?

As the left reverend Jesse Jackson might say......Too much specialization, without diversification, undoubtedly leads to disintigration! As always....

Best Wishes,
Swedelo

PS: I did e-mail SI to get their official okie-dokie on the QQQ issue...LOL. I'll let you know what they say.
