Hi E. Unless I'm totally off, I don't think this drive is a direct competition in the Zip market. Appearantly they already have an older version which I never heared of. This seems to be an improvement of a older product. A friend of mine works at Pitney Bowes, they have a magnato floptical drive, he saiz it hardly gets any use. Zead
