Why should you or anyone care what I say about Hitchens? And why not talk about him and his arguments against God? What do you think he wrote the book for - to be ignored?

So he probably doesn't care what I think about his arguments. But you do, interestingly. And you find it offensive. Pretty sensitive. But then you have a lot tied up in Hitchen's ideas. A lot riding on him being right. What if he's wrong? Gasp .... thats terrible to think about. No wonder you want me to stop talking about Hitchens.

When he said what kind of god mutilates the dead, he was talking about your belief in Hell...what happens in Hell to the dead???

Ah, this is the root of your fear isn't it? You're afraid if Hitchens is wrong and God exists you're going to hell and the demons will torment you there.

What happens in hell? I haven't been there. I think the common conception of hell is based on what people in the Mediterranean world knew about volcanoes and is a primitive oonception. But if you're so worried about it, you should ask yourself how you could be assured of never going there.

Evil diatribe? Talking about the weaknesses of Hitchens arguments is an evil diatribe? This IS a sensitive area for you. I'd say your faith in atheism is not very strong.
