re: Gold new all time highs/$2900....
You know what's amazing, is I was 110% sure that if we ever hit $3,000 gold that the GDX PM stock ETF would be around 65-70, maybe even 80.
Here we are at GDX 41, the same level as when gold finally hit $2,000.
The next $1,000 did nothing.
Crypto and AI stocks for sure are part of it, but so is the constant dilution and poor management of most mining stocks.
That said, earnings going forward should be monstrous... especially if Trump is successful in lowering energy prices. Also, a lot of the solid players will be establishing new 52-week highs here soon, which will also begin to attract the mo-mo traders.
The challenge will be whether or not mining stocks can hit new all time highs before this MOAB, mother of all market bubbles pops. Something I am sure the banksters will do before the 2026 midterms, making sure it happens under Trumps watch.
Bill Gates is begging for a Black Ops intervention making not-so-veiled threats about another pandemic, only this one he says will be "much more deadly" than his last...
I mean "WTF"?
....there's tens of thousands of GWOT vets out there.
Hell, 24 a day commit suicide and it only takes one..
WTF is he thinking?
Just sayin'
Palantir went up like 20% plus yesterday.
That was a $40 billion dollar market cap move?!?!?
Why?
Because they increased 2025 revenue guidance up to $3.75 billion with, EPS guidance of $1.56 billion.
The kicker?
That's a PE ratio of 151 X, and a price to sales ration of 63 X, as it now has a $236 billion market cap
W-T-F?!?!?!
This isn't a start up?
This takes the 2000 tech and internet bubble to new levels of insanity.
Same with crypto valuations, especially with "meme coins" like the Trump coin?
I can't believe that old timers like Dalio, Paul Tudor Jones, Druckenmiller etc are putting their own money into things at these valuation levels.
I can see fund mangers putting clients, and pension fund money etc into it, because gambling with OPM is a pure momentum game.
Give me one more mining stock trade here before the MOAB crash, and then maybe, one more buy of that dip as long as it's a 50-75% haircut in valuations like 2000 and 2008, and thats my last trade...
Off to the woods, the lakes and streams, and tuning out while getting out (of the system).
The late Jim Sinclair was right, just a little early... with "GOTS" (get out of the system now).
What a world...
I want the 70s and the real 'Merica back.
Give me the bicentennial America of 1976 and freeze time, and I'm all good.
Remember 1976?
The last of the real American cars...
76 Cadillac Eldorado Biarittz convertibles, '76 Lincoln Mark IV designer series, Bill Blass, Givenchy etc.
The full size 76 Lincoln Town Cars with like 4 inch paddef Landau Vinyl tops and those Opera windows, with a Rolls Royce styled front grill...
'Merica.
