Arctic Mike, Jan, Richard, Brooke. Thanks! I was not even able to boot windows period, did a safe mode boot and removed QV from start up. I like to run clean, ie nothing other than what I'm using as windows has a history of pissing me off with that blue screen of death. Meta and QP are the only 2 programs running. As far as I can tell the only thing that is running in the background is the compaq system for the laptop and the Cannon multipass that is necessary to print. Hmmmmmmm. I will give QP a call as I would really like to get this thing going. I will post the outcome as others may be pulling their hair out also. Thanks again, bdog
