If you legalized drugs crooks wouldn't need them because most violent crime is illegal drug-related. You sound like an NRA member. They BS too. They have a point but they push it way too far and cannot deny many legal gun-owners go out and kill their families, school mates or office colleagues. Or their kids get ahold of the guns and kill. A lot of wackos can buy guns too who dont have records. There are far too many guns in our society period. When I was growing up, people in the country had them for hunting etc. Nobody else needed them. Now the NRA puts out this feverish message that we need them to defend ourselves against crooks. But if they hadn't made guns so easy to get the crooks wouldn't have many guns in the first place. The NRA does as much harm as it does good. You simply cannot draw a line between good guys and bad guys. There is a huge regy zone there. The NRA is also a closet racist organization. Whites versus blacks mentality. Helter Skelter and Armageddon. They certainly dont need to legalize assault weapons. Makes no sense at all.
