I took a similar spin on an earlier message. I think I was one of the first to ask ask the question, "is there any way that KE can transfer some IOMEGA's earnings to 3d qtr?"
Somewhat less informed on the machinations of the market, but more on elements that deal with knowing the enemy and conquering it, I think KE's plan, as in the past, will work. Time is not as critical to winning a few squabbles, as timing is critical in winning the war! Monopoly? Few...and those who are in the business of knowing what's on the horizon are constantly aligning themselves with a down the line obvious winner. Seagate, IBM, INTC, HP, Dell, Unisys, Bandai, just a few... do these look like losers? Come on people, review the facts again. Syquest will soon be out, CPQ "may" soon be in.
There are so many variables here, the decline in the dollar worldwide, not to mention overzealous members of WS clan who still want to say I told you so, so we can sell at a loss, and they can capitalize on our lack of faith.
And if I'm wrong, my life will not stop...but neither will IOMEGA... there are so few things one can have faith in these days, but hard cold facts is one on them. The more informed, the better you stay at winning.
Thanks for your insight. And Ken...playing with a few of your shares might be okay, but for what it's worth, I'm better off as a result of the born winners I sold, and took my profits then to support my position here than I would have been had I not cashed my profits several weeks ago is some real blue chippers.
