Terrance-
So far it seems to be a matter of personal preference between PH and ProTA. I prefer the chart displays in PH to those in ProTA, and I'm really sold on the list operations in PH which allow me to generate a new list based on indicator values, and then further refine that list. Trust me on this one, list manipulation is more important than one would first think.

PH does not track your portfolio. In order to track all of the criteria you listed you would need to run a time-consuming analysis of your securities list multiple times, unless you were able to code all of them into one test (which is doubtful). For me, I like to examine securities first by one angle, then by another, so PH doesn't quite meet my needs there. Also, PH could use some work in the area of Alert/Alarm definition. PH doesn't allow you to backtest your alerts.

In the end, as much as I like PH, I'm still looking for something better. Behold! is one alternative, but even the demo for that one costs $50, and it doesn't do everything that PH does even though I believe that it does a good job on trading system development. (I haven't tried the demo yet).

Good luck.
