All: Has anyone here had an account at Discover Brokerage (Lombard)? If so, how do you compare the two in terms of: - Execution speed (both by phone and Internet) - Time it takes for them to answer your call when you make an order - Response time during market crash - Be able to get the best market price I plan to transfer my account at Lombard to both Waterhouse and Datek. I know Datek is good in term of execution and best stock price but I also need a broker in my local area in case I need to withdraw some money quick. I am undecided whether I should use Waterhouse or Schwab for my local broker. Has anyone used Schwab? How do you compare to Waterhouse? Any help is greatly appreciated. Mike.
