You make some good points, but I sense your main point is that there will be no instrinsic use for this product, as it is a "toy" with little real potential demand. I believe the same was said for cellular phones, beepers, satellite television dishes and your beloved personal computer. It is surprising that goods that at one point seem to only impress the techno-wizards become indispensible tools for the non-techno-wizards (i.e. the "masses"). As the internet becomes a bigger and bigger part of each and every one of our lives, how can a product that (theoretically) allows instant access to it via wireless modem be seen as a novelty product with little practical use? Notwithstanding this, more than one fleet of ships set sail for the new world, but only a few made it. Whether or not this product and this management team (and its approach) will "make it" has yet to be seen.
