UMAX and MOTO want to make a deal. China/Japan are key markets. The two questions are (1) $$$$$ and (2) whether AAPL will let them do CHRP with OS8 there but still disallow it in North America --- can you imagine the howls from US users if this happens? But it would make excellent business sense. In the next month we will hear about the following news : - UMAX and MOTO licensing - CHRP - CEO search result - Rhapsody DR1 - new Newton products (?) - 4th Q financials I'm betting for good news on all fronts ----> $30 by November :) Windows 95: n. 32-bit extensions and a graphical shell for a 16-bit patch to an 8-bit operating system originally coded for a 4-bit microprocessor, written by a 2-bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition
