New York, New York, May. 19, 2000 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- Asian
Star Development, Inc., with its principal offices in Hong Kong, reached
agreements this day with the European market Investor Relations specialist firm
of Elliott, Lane & Associates, Inc., to spearhead the company's first major
Investor Relations campaign into Europe.

The company will also apply for dual listing of its shares on the booming Third
Segment Markets of both the Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges. Quotes for the
Frankfurt exchange can be accessed at the following URL:
europeaninvestor.com. And quotes for the Berlin exchange can be
accessed on the following URL: money.berlinerboerse.de.

The Berlin Stock Exchange has, in recent years, become a special market for
foreign securities. It has more than 7400 international stocks on offer,
including more than 5,200 US-companies and 145 eastern European stocks
(including 49 Russian companies). Almost 300 companies have been listed on the
Berlin Stock Exchange's Third Market Segment so far in May, including about 100
United States companies, such as Software Technologies (Nasdaq:STCS),
Embarcadero Technologies (Nasdaq:EMBT ), and Internet firms like Cavion
Technologies (Nasdaq:CAVN), Cyber-Care, Inc. (Nasdaq:CYBR) and Adaptive Broad
Band (Nasdaq:ADAP).

Stephen Chow, President of Asian Star, stated: "The European market is a very
important growth area for our firm and we are delighted to have found an
exceptional firm in Elliott, Lane & Associates, Inc to introduce us to this very
exciting market place and also to arrange the listing of our securities on the
Major German trading platforms. With the union of the Frankfurt and London Stock
exchange, we expect to receive additional exposure to the European investment
community. With the launch of our recently acquired technologies, Asian Star
offers new investors even more opportunities to participate in the huge
potential of our various businesses, both in China and the entire Asian region."

Elliott, Lane & Associates, Inc. & its European partners will assist Asian Star
by introducing the company to potential merger and acquisition opportunities,
joint venture and/or synergistic partnerships, and to European institutional
investors.

Mark Lane, a principal of Elliott, Lane & Associates said that he is
particularly excited about the technology cross-globalization synergies relative
to the European market, and believes there is strong interest from potential
European investors and cross border partners for Asian Star's type of company.
Elliott, Lane & Associates was involved in the public listing of Nettaxi, Inc.
(OTC BB:NTXY) and the dual listing of the following U.S public companies: (OTC
BB:MRTO), (OTC BB:VNTK), (OTC BB:ENNT), (OTC BB:ASAT) and (OTC BB:NTSF).
