Paul:

Here are a couple of points to ponder upon:

1. Who actually benefits from the increase in PPro prices?
My naive understanding is that it would be the box makers and
resellers, who have entered into fixed price contracts with Intel.
(And now those prices are dropped even more). (DELL, GATE, CPQ?)

2. If, as I expect, Prop 211 fails, then Intel will once again
start talking to the analysts. I cant imagine them saying anything bad. Watch for a big pop back up to the 115 level. (Wish I had more money to buy the stock).

3. Has anyone heard rumors (check the DBC archives at www.dbc.com)
about Intel buying chips from Cyrix? Incredible what people come up with!!

Regards,

Bharath
