I know dude...they could have got 30-40% of the DVD market, a better codec and snuffed out a major competitor in the STB market too if they had bought CUBE. My guess is they offered stock and CUBE said "NO THANKS"....since they had such a bad deal with the HLIT spin.

CUBE would have cost them 1.5-2B IMO, but still you've got something then(revenue, earnings, visibility), rather this VT deal with nothing but a dream.

I'm wondering...was BRCM management behind this medical marijuana deal and were they sampling or what?
