If you're saying "if Sun had a monopoly like Microsoft", well okay, I'd have to agree. It'd be the primary job of any publically held company to leverage their monopoly at every opportunity. In fact, Scott McNealy has said as much. --- What you say in making that point though is the the DoJ is completely righteous in bringing antitrust actions against Microsoft. --- If you believe that it's MS's job to leverage their 'dominant position' with standards that go apart from their industry, then you make the case against MS and for the DoJ and 19 states. There's no other way to slice it. --- When we talk about the internet, we're talking about something which is altogether about open standards. If MS is threatening that dynamic with their monopoly, they need to be broken up. --- Please note that I wasn't in agreement with a break-up remedy until now. --- At this point, MS management is running you guys (shareholders) off a cliff (IMO). -JCJ
