Internet advertisers are savvy. They won't overpay for SOL... I mean AOL.

I have been on both the buy side and sell side of I-Net advertising. Believe me, it is a buyers', not a sellers' market. Buyers with any sense only want to pay for clickthrus, not eyeballs. The crucial issue is how many of those clickthrus will come from AOL-published content? I claim that really good content developers don't need AOL to market their sites. Is AOL really going to wind up being a world-power content developer? Can you really compare them to Disney, or even Time-Warner? NO WAY! These guys could be big frogs in the internet access pond but they are just frog-bait in content, if not pond scum. Well, you gotta say it like you see it!
