Dataguest and Yankee group etc are making surveys on asking on home networking:

"How many households in U.S. want connect devices such PCs printers, televisions and others at their homes so that they can be centrally controlled and shared...?"

Survey result: 30.5 % U.S. pc households want to connect various devices such PC's.

"Whole semiconductor bussiness is in new upturn heralds a new trend which is called 'consumerization' to boost semiconductor demand:
Mobilephones, digital cameras, set-top boxes and hand-held computers, etc, are comming and are going to be connected via home networks. "

"The big consumer electronic companies are getting excited about the idea of home networking..."
